Is your jewelry really waterproof?
Yes! All of our jewelry is made from surgical-grade stainless steel with an 18K Gold PVD coating, which makes it fully waterproof. You can wear it to the lake, pool, gym, or shower without worrying about damage or tarnishing.
Will the gold color fade or tarnish over time?
Our 18K Gold PVD coating is much more durable than traditional gold plating. It's designed to resist tarnishing and fading with everyday wear. To keep it looking its best, avoid prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals like bleach or chlorine pools, and apply perfume and lotions before putting your jewelry on.
Is your jewelry safe for sensitive skin?
Yes! Our jewelry is hypoallergenic and made from surgical-grade stainless steel, which is safe for even the most sensitive skin types. We do not use nickel in our pieces.
Can I sleep in my jewelry?
Yes â our pieces are designed for everyday wear including sleeping. That said, we recommend removing delicate charm pieces before sleeping to prevent snagging.
How do I clean my jewelry?
For everyday cleaning, simply wipe with a soft dry cloth. For a deeper clean, use warm water with a small drop of mild dish soap, gently scrub with a soft toothbrush, rinse well, and pat dry. Avoid abrasive cleaners. Visit our Jewelry Care Guide for full instructions.

What metal do you use?
All of our jewelry is made from surgical-grade 316L stainless steel with an 18K Gold PVD or Silver PVD finish. This combination makes our pieces waterproof, hypoallergenic, and tarnish-resistant.
What is PVD coating?
PVD stands for Physical Vapor Deposition. It's a high-quality finishing process that bonds a thin layer of real gold (or silver) to the stainless steel base. It's far more durable than traditional electroplating, making it resistant to scratching, fading, and tarnishing.
Do you offer sterling silver?
We offer a silver-tone finish (Silver PVD on stainless steel) which has the look of sterling silver but is much more durable and waterproof. We do not currently offer solid sterling silver pieces.

What necklace lengths do you offer?
Most of our necklaces are available in 16", 18", and 20" lengths. 18" is our most popular length and falls just below the collarbone. Visit our Size Guide to find your perfect fit.
What size are your bracelets?
All Enchanted Lakes Co. bracelets are 7" with a lobster clasp. Our Paperclip chain styles include a 2" extender, giving you a range of 7"â9". If you need a custom size, please contact us before ordering.
Can I request a custom length?
Yes! If you need a length that isn't listed, reach out to us through the Contact page before placing your order and we'll do our best to accommodate.

How do I personalize my order?
Each product listing has a personalization field or upload option where you can enter your custom text, name, date, birth month, or photo. Follow the instructions listed on each product page â they'll tell you exactly what to include.
How does the Handwritten Message Charm work?
Select your piece, then upload a clear photo of the handwriting directly in the product listing before adding to cart. We'll engrave every loop and curve in miniature exactly as it was written. These pieces ship in 3â5 business days.
Can I see a proof before my order is made?
For most standard pieces, we begin crafting immediately after order. For complex custom designs, we'll reach out to confirm details before starting. If you have specific concerns, note them in your order or contact us before purchasing.
Can I order in bulk for a bridal party or event?
Absolutely! We love doing bridal parties, corporate gifts, and event favors. Contact us at least 3â4 weeks before your event for bulk pricing and to ensure your timeline. Visit our Bulk Orders page for more details.
What if I made a mistake in my personalization?
Contact us as soon as possible at hello@enchantedlakesco.com with your order number and the correct information. If your order hasn't been engraved yet, we can usually make the change. Once engraved, we're unable to modify personalized pieces.
đ§ Water Bottles & Drinkware
What type of water bottles do you use?
We use 32oz Owala FreeSip insulated stainless steel bottles. They feature a built-in straw, wide-mouth chug option, leak-proof lid, and double-wall insulation that keeps drinks cold for 24 hours.
Is the design a sticker or permanently engraved?
Permanently engraved â not a sticker or decal. This means it will never peel, fade, or scratch off no matter how many times you use or wash it. This is one of the biggest differences between our bottles and others you'll find online.
Can I design a fully custom water bottle?
Yes! We offer themed designs as well as fully custom wraps. Contact us through the Contact page or Build Your Own page with your idea and we'll work with you on a custom design.
How do I care for my water bottle?
Hand wash with mild soap and warm water. Avoid the dishwasher as it can dull the engraving over time. Do not use abrasive sponges on the engraved areas.
How long do water bottle orders take?
Water bottle orders typically take 5â7 business days due to the custom engraving process. Rush options may be available â contact us to discuss your timeline.

What gifts do you offer beyond jewelry?
Our Gifts & Lifestyle collection includes personalized water bottles, wine tumblers, ring dishes, magnetic bottle openers, lake ornaments, and seasonal gift tags â all customized and made to order.
Do you offer gift wrapping or gift packaging?
Every jewelry piece arrives in a keepsake gift box, ready to give. You can also add a personalized gift note at checkout at no extra charge. Additional gift wrapping may be available â contact us if you have a specific request.
Can I order lake ornaments for a specific lake?
Yes! Our lake ornaments are engraved with the name of your chosen lake. Simply provide the lake name in the personalization field at checkout.

What is the Once Upon a Charm collection?
Once Upon a Charm is our collection of magically inspired and fairytale-themed charms â designed for the dreamers, magic lovers, and anyone who believes in a little enchantment. Each charm is an original design that pairs with our Charm Keeper necklace or bracelet base.
Are these licensed or official branded products?
No â all of our charms are original handcrafted designs inspired by magical themes. Enchanted Lakes Co. is not affiliated with or licensed by any brand or franchise. These are entirely our own creative designs.
Do these charms fit on my existing Charm Keeper bracelet or necklace?
Yes! All Once Upon a Charm pieces are compatible with our Charm Keeper necklace and bracelet bases. If you're unsure about compatibility, feel free to contact us before purchasing.

How does Build Your Own work?
Visit our Build Your Own page to design your custom piece. Choose your base (necklace or bracelet), metal color, and the charms or engravings you want. Add to cart and we'll handcraft your piece and ship in 1â2 days (custom designs may take up to 1 week).
Is there a minimum or maximum number of charms?
There's no minimum! Most customers choose 1â4 charms for a balanced look. We'll let you know if a combination won't work well together â we want you to love the final result.
Can I mix charms from different collections?
Absolutely! That's the whole idea. Mix birth flower charms, letter charms, magically inspired charms, and handwriting charms all on one piece â the more personal the better.

How long does shipping take?
Most orders ship within 1â2 business days. Standard shipping via USPS takes 3â5 additional business days. Custom and Build Your Own orders may take up to 1 week to ship. Water bottle orders take 5â7 business days.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! We offer free standard shipping on all orders over $50. Expedited shipping is available at checkout for an additional fee.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the United States only. If you're outside the US and interested in placing an order, contact us and we'll see what we can do.
My package says delivered but I haven't received it. What do I do?
First, check with neighbors and your local post office. If it's still missing after 2 business days, contact us and we'll file a claim and work to make it right for you.

What is your return policy?
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for items that are unused and in original condition. Personalized and custom items are non-refundable unless they arrive damaged or with an error on our part.
My item arrived damaged or incorrect. What now?
We're so sorry! Send us a photo of the issue within 7 days of delivery through our Contact page and we will remake or refund your order at no cost to you.
How do I start a return or exchange?
Contact us through our Contact page with your order number and the reason for your return. We'll walk you through the next steps. Please do not send items back without contacting us first.
